Toyota Commits $300,000 to Food Banks Canada

Toyota has renewed its national partnership with Food Banks Canada with another $300,000 commitment to support food security initiatives across the country.

The $300,000 commitment is part of the Toyota Cars for Good program and involves contributions from Toyota Canada and its dealer network. This is the second year of the partnership, which has helped provide more than one million meals to people facing food insecurity across Canada.

The Toyota Cars for Good program offers a portion of every new Toyota vehicle sold in Canada to support the program, allowing dealerships to give back to their local communities.

Since 2020, Toyota Canada has contributed more than $1 million to local food banks through various initiatives. Toyota has also launched a new awareness campaign to highlight the importance of access to healthy food and how it helps people achieve their goals. Food Banks Canada says partnerships like this are important as more individuals and families continue to rely on food banks for support.
