Quebec’s Audrey Leduc has broken the 36-year-old Canadian record in the women’s 100m sprint. At the LSU Alumni Gold event, Leduc completed the 100-meter race in 10.96 seconds.

Margery Gaede, a graduate with multiple degrees from the University of Alberta, along with her husband, Harry Gaede, who holds degrees in law and arts from the same university, have been helping the students at the University of Alberta by supporting student awards and bursaries.
