Adaptable Outdoors is an award-winning charity based in Pincher Creek, Alberta, founded by Steve and Sara Holly in 2019. It provides inclusive programs, adaptive equipment, and the support of dedicated volunteers, enabling participants to enjoy nature, build confidence, and reap the benefits of outdoor activities in a safe and welcoming environment.

The group believes that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors irrespective of their physical abilities. Outdoor recreation can improve physical and mental health, especially in rural communities. The organization helps break down the barriers to participation for people with disabilities by using adaptive equipment, teamwork and creativity to help people of all abilities enjoy outdoor activities and build healthier, stronger families and communities.

Adaptable Outdoors has affordable programs and even offers them free to people experiencing financial hardship, removing cost as another barrier. The group is able to work with the help and support of volunteers, grants and private donations that help cover equipment and operating costs.
