Rogers Charity Classic announced that this year’s event raised a record setting $26.6 million to support children’s charities across Alberta. This brings the total raised since the tournament began to $164.3 million.
Rogers began the 2025 fundraising efforts in June with a $1 million donation to Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink. This charitable arm supports thousands of youth in areas such as counselling, sports, and family assistance. The program works alongside participating charities to help generate new funds. All 316 charities receive every dollar donated on their behalf, along with up to 50 percent in matched funding provided by the Rogers Charity Classic.
The announcement took place at Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids, one of the supported charities. Representatives from Rogers, the Rogers Charity Classic, and AltaLink attended, along with Wes Martin, the top Canadian at the tournament, to celebrate the milestone.
The event highlighted the impact of these contributions, including support that helps children access nutritious food and strengthens programs that reach classrooms, families, and communities across Calgary.
The 2026 Rogers Charity Classic is scheduled for August 17 to 23, 2026 at Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club in Calgary.
