Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health recently announced $600,000 in funding for 15 community partners this year. The funds will support community partners in delivering local initiatives that help improve health outcomes for women across Canada.

The 15 chosen community partners help with a range of needs across the women’s health landscape, including gender-based violence, mental health, access to care, maternal health, and menstrual equity. Since its launch in 2022, the Community Grants Program has provided more than $8 million to over 100 organizations across Canada, helping local charitable organizations address barriers to women’s health in the communities they serve.

The grants to community partners range from $10,000 to $50,000 to improve access to health care, cancer support, counselling, and other services across provinces, including British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health is the charitable arm of Shoppers Drug Mart and is committed to helping Canadian women lead healthier lives by making care more equitable and accessible.
