Saskatchewan Firefighters Raise Funds for Children Facing Health Challenges

Saskatchewan firefighters recently lit up the stage in Regina at a children’s hospital fundraiser, swapping turnout gear for the spotlight, all for a good cause.

The fully packed house at the 24th annual Saskatchewan Firefighters Calendar Selection Night cheered as 17 firefighters from across Saskatchewan took the stage to be chosen for the province’s well-known Saskatchewan Firefighters Calendar. The evening was full of energy, with the audience voting in person and supporters across the country joining online to help decide the winners.

By the end of the night, 12 firefighters were selected for the upcoming calendar, which will be released this fall, each helping to carry forward the mission of supporting kids across Saskatchewan. The special event aims to raise money to support children’s healthcare, including equipment and comfort for children and families facing health challenges.

For over nine years, the Saskatchewan Firefighters Calendar has supported maternal and children’s healthcare, with proceeds benefiting the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. The Saskatchewan Firefighters Calendar offers meaningful support and an ongoing commitment of $150,000 to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.
