Newfound Riders Raise Money to Support Kids in Need

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Newfound Riders recently conducted a fundraiser to help support kids in need. The group invited the community to buy tickets for a Harley-Davidson draw.

Lloyd Button won the 2025 Harley-Davidson Street Glide during the group’s yearly draw on behalf of the Newfound Foundation. The ticket seller, Randy, received $1,000 as well. Since its inception, the group has raised and donated close to $750,000 to support kids in need.

This is a 100% volunteer project and has raised and donated about $750,000 to charity in the past two decades. All the money raised goes to the Newfound Foundation, a registered charity started by the Newfound Riders in 2006 to help sick children in need. The foundation supports children and families who do not qualify for help from other organizations and are left without support.

The Newfound Foundation provides financial assistance for things like travel, meals, and hotel stays for medical treatment, whether in or out of the province. They also help pay for medical equipment, supplies, and devices, as well as medications that are not covered by government or private insurance plans.
