Cupid Treats for Furry Feets Supports Shelter Services

The Guelph Humane Society has brought back its annual campaign for Cupid Treats this Valentine’s Day, allowing people to celebrate Valentine’s Day with their furry friends.

For the third year, the Guelph Humane Society (GHS) is running its Cupid Treats for Furry Feets campaign, enabling the community to donate Valentine’s Day cards to animals in the shelter. The contributions include a special treat and a donation to support shelter services such as food and veterinary care.

Cupid Treats is about helping animals feel loved and cared for, said Jane Dawkins from the Guelph Humane Society. She explained that small acts of kindness can make a big difference for animals waiting to be adopted. These treats help animals feel safe, build trust, and sometimes experience kindness for the first time. People who buy Cupid Treats will also receive a video showing a shelter animal enjoying the treat they donated.
