Canadians across the country are participating and raising money for the 2025 Walk & Roll events to show their support for those affected by neuromuscular disorders.
The events are spread across Canada between May and July and led by volunteers who are raising money that can help break down barriers for the neuromuscular community.
The funds raised through Walk & Roll for Muscular Dystrophy Canada will help people living with neuromuscular disorders get early diagnoses, access the care they need, and find helpful resources, along with supporting important research that could lead to cures. Muscular Dystrophy Canada aims to raise $1.2 million this year to fund research, provide life-changing equipment, build stronger communities, and push for important policy changes.
Last year, the event raised over $1,089,000 with more than 2,200 people participating in 30 fun, in-person events across the country. 225 volunteers generously offered their time, skills, and energy, contributing 1,000 hours to make the event a success.
