Subway Canada’s Campaign Helps Children Access Healthy Food

Subway Canada ran its sixth annual Never Miss Lunch charitable campaign from June 16 to June 22, allowing Canadians to support children’s access to healthy food by buying a cookie at Subway.

Subway Canada partnered with Food Banks Canada to support children nationwide who are experiencing food insecurity. For a week, every cookie sale at Subway helped Food Banks Canada fill food packs with nutritious fruits, vegetables, and dairy products for children in over 235 communities.

As part of Subway’s Never Miss Lunch program, money from every cookie sale was donated to Food Banks Canada, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $765,000. As the exclusive Fresh Food Sponsor, Subway ensures each pack includes not just packaged foods but also fresh, healthy items to help feed children during summer when school meal programs stop.

Now in its sixth year, Subway Canada’s Never Miss Lunch program supported Food Banks Canada to deliver 215,000 food packs to children in need this summer. Since 2019, the program has helped fill over one million healthy food packs for kids.
