Urban Barn Launches Blanket the Country Campaign

Canadian furniture company Urban Barn has launched its “Blanket the Country” campaign to support local communities across Canada.

In Saskatoon, the company is partnering with Saskatoon Interval House, a non-profit that offers shelter and support to women and children affected by domestic violence. Through this initiative, Urban Barn aims to help those in need and make a positive impact in the communities it serves.

During October, Urban Barn’s campaign will match every donation made by customers who purchase in-store or online. Customers will then receive a thank-you offer of 20 percent off all regularly priced décor with a minimum purchase of $100, valid from November 1 to 23. Urban Barn is a 100-percent Canadian-owned and -operated furniture retail chain. The company is encouraging customers to contribute $2 or more between Nov. 1, 2025, and Sept. 30, 2026, and will match each donation.

Urban Barn’s campaign is about turning compassion into action. By keeping donations within local communities, every contribution provides real and immediate help to those who need it. The 2025 campaign supports 37 non-profit organizations across Canada, including food banks, shelters, and counselling services such as North Shore Crisis Services Society, Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids, and Fondation Véro & Louis. The campaign intends to help one in seven Canadians facing food insecurity. In Saskatoon, homelessness has nearly tripled, with 1,499 people counted in the most recent survey.
