Over 20 restaurants participated in Elora’s Longest BBQ on July 29, bringing the community together to celebrate Canadian cuisine and community spirit.
The event honoured the spirit of Ontario’s food culture by spotlighting seasonal ingredients, local producers, and the chefs who bring them together with purpose. Thousands of Canadians gathered in the heart of Elora to celebrate Canadian cuisine at the BBQ with the community that makes it all possible.
Just 90 minutes from Toronto, Elora’s Longest BBQ is a fun summer getaway for food lovers of all ages. As the official kick-off to Food Day Canada 2025, it marked Canada’s biggest outdoor BBQ, featuring over 20 local restaurants. The event offered Canadian dishes, Ontario wines, beers, and ciders, live music, and fun family activities in one of Ontario’s prettiest towns.
The money raised through the BBQ supports Food Day Canada, which promotes Canadian food, farmers, and culinary excellence across the country. More than 10,000 guests attended the event this year.
