Nine Albertans will be invested into the Alberta Order of Excellence this year. The Alberta Order of Excellence is the province’s highest honour and recognizes exceptional service and achievement.
The Alberta Order of Excellence celebrates individuals whose leadership, innovation, and dedication have helped shape Alberta’s identity and strengthened its future. Since its inception in 1979, the Alberta Order of Excellence has acknowledged individuals who have made significant contributions to the province.
The 2025 inductees are as follows:
● Sine Chadi, Edmonton
● Geoff Cumming, Calgary
● John Day, Edmonton
● Brian Felesky, Calgary
● Nichole Neubauer, Medicine Hat
● Lyn Radford, Red Deer
● John Scott, Longview
● Doug Stollery, Edmonton
The investiture ceremony will take place in Edmonton in October, bringing the total membership of the Alberta Order of Excellence to 229. Created in 1979, the Alberta Order of Excellence remains the highest honour the province can present to a resident.
