Within five years, Deeplaul has become an integral part of Coquitlam’s social fabric, representing the principle of loving and serving the community. Vishad has a cheerful outlook and an unwavering commitment to uplifting those around him through his volunteer work to various causes.
Vishad served as a board member of the People’s Pantry Recovery Society, where he played a pivotal role in securing a no-cost location for the agency while ensuring that vital resources are accessible to those in need. His collaboration with organizations like Backpack Buddies and the Diwali Celebration Society further reflects his deep investment in the well-being of his community.
Throughout the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Deeplaul’s compassion and volunteering with B.C. United Way, helped provide essential assistance to families facing hardship. His kind acts, from cooking meals for seniors to gardening for neighbors, have won him widespread appreciation within the community.
In addition to his volunteer efforts to help and support the community, Deeplaul has also co-founded Tri-Cities United, a community group dedicated to combating isolation and nurturing connections. The group fosters a sense of belonging and camaraderie among residents through innovative events like paint nights and chocolate-making gatherings. Deeplaul is known as a bridge-builder, forging connections and ensuring access to resources for those in need.
