VinFast Canada, an electric vehicle manufacturer, has joined forces with Food Banks Canada to help provide free meals to Canadians facing food insecurity. From November 18 to December 31, 2024, for every test drive of a VinFast electric vehicle, the company will donate 100 meals to local food banks. The goal is to provide up to 100,000 meals by encouraging 1,000 test drives. “We’re thrilled to unite Canadians in the spirit of giving and invite everyone to help make a difference this holiday season,” said VinFast.

The VinFast Food Banks Canada Support Initiative offers a simple yet impactful way to contribute to the community. Each test drive generates a $50 donation, equivalent to 100 meals, for food banks across Canada. Customers can further boost the initiative by bringing friends, as every additional test drive results in another 100 meals donated. To deepen its commitment, VinFast headquarters staff will volunteer during the holiday season, assisting with donation deliveries and supporting local food banks.
