The End2End cycling event raised more than $300,000 for the Island Kids Cancer Association, which provides financial aid and other support for Vancouver Island families affected by childhood cancer.

Through the End2End cycling initiative, Islanders help Islanders through their toughest journey. The annual event helps support Vancouver Island families who are facing the difficult journey of childhood cancer. The fundraising event was held in June, when nine cyclists rode 1,000 kilometres from Victoria to Port Hardy and back, completing the challenging route non-stop to raise money and awareness for local families.

This year’s campaign raised $272,843 by the end of the two-day, non-stop, 1,000-kilometre cycling challenge on June 18. After all donations were counted, the final total reached an impressive $301,686.03. The final amount is nearly three times the approximately $110,000 raised during the event’s inaugural year last year.

The organizers were amazed by the amount of money raised and thanked people across Vancouver Island for their incredible support. The success of the event has inspired organizers to aim even higher for 2027. For more information about the ride or to donate, visit End2End Cancer.
