BC’s Corpus Management Group Helps Save and Enrich Lives

Corpus Management Group (CMG), a privately owned company based in British Columbia, stands as a testament to the power of business success intertwined with social responsibility. With diversified interests spanning agriculture, aggregates, property development, financial services, and more, CMG has achieved remarkable growth in a variety of industries while consistently demonstrating a deep commitment to giving back to the community.

Over the past two decades, CMG has been a significant force in supporting charitable initiatives that align with its core values of compassion, inclusivity, and empowerment. Two organizations that have particularly benefited from CMG’s unwavering support are The Erika Legacy Foundation and the Abilitas Foundation.

Supporting Mental Health Through The Erika Legacy Foundation

The Erika Legacy Foundation, established in 2016 to honour the memory of Erika Nicole Elkington, is dedicated to suicide prevention and fostering communities that are free from stigma. Erika, a visionary who believed in the inherent greatness of people, tragically passed away by suicide at the age of 29, just one month before her birthday. Her family and friends created the foundation to carry forward her legacy and support individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts through education, inclusivity, open dialogue, and the provision of resources.

The foundation focuses on proactive, predictive, and preventive measures to address mental health challenges. By promoting awareness and offering practical support, it aims to empower individuals, reduce stigma, and build stronger, more resilient communities where mental health is openly discussed and supported.

CMG’s involvement with The Erika Legacy Foundation is not just financial; it is deeply personal. The leadership at CMG recognizes the profound impact that mental health issues can have on individuals and families. By supporting the foundation, CMG seeks to contribute to a future where mental health is openly discussed, understood, and supported without judgment.

Empowering Families at the Cold Water Ranch Lodge

In addition to its support for mental health initiatives, CMG has been instrumental in the establishment and operation of the Coldwater Ranch Lodge, a project of the Abilitas Foundation. Located in the scenic Coldwater Valley near Merritt, BC, the lodge provides accessible respite opportunities for individuals living with disabilities, their caretakers, and their families. Since its opening in 2013, the lodge has offered free stays to qualifying families, allowing them to rest, recharge, and reconnect in a fully accessible environment.

The lodge features spacious rooms with specialized amenities, including overhead lifts, adjustable beds, and accessible bathrooms, ensuring comfort and safety for all guests. This initiative reflects CMG’s commitment to inclusivity and its belief in the importance of family and community support.

Corpus Management Group’s dedication to supporting non-profit organizations exemplifies its core belief that business success should be leveraged to make a positive impact on society. Through these partnerships, CMG not only contributes to vital causes but also sets a standard for corporate responsibility and community engagement.

CMG’s dedication to these organizations is not purely financial. Leadership at CMG believes in responsibly ensuring that funds are used effectively to support those who need it most, and they actively participate in the initiatives they back.
