North Bay Women’s Motorcycle Club Gives Back to the Community

A new women’s motorcycle club in North Bay called Street Angels RC is growing by inviting more women to join the club and ride along while also giving back to the community.

The club started last year and currently has about six members. It believes in supporting local causes and helping people in need. Last weekend, the club members hosted a charity car wash to collect cash and non-perishable food donations for the North Bay Food Bank, which often sees donations drop during the warmer months. The event took place on a weekend at Hometown Garage and featured a barbecue and merchandise for sale.

The motorcycle club welcomes women riders of all skill levels and bike types, promoting a supportive, “family-first” environment. Club members say they are proud to be strong, independent women who enjoy riding motorcycles and making a positive difference in their community. The club is looking to add more like-minded women who share a passion for riding motorcycles and supporting the community.

The club has many rides planned for the near future, including a group ride to New Liskeard for the upcoming Bikers’ Reunion from July 3 to 5. The club hosts its weekly Bike Night every Tuesday and Sunday rides starting at the Tim Hortons on Pinewood Park Drive. You can learn more or join the club through its Facebook page.

The club is built on unity, trust, and sisterhood and is trying to create a space for women in the motorcycle world, which is largely dominated by men.
