The community in North Bay helped raise an impressive $29,814 for families facing dementia during the annual IG Walk for Alzheimer’s held on May 30.

Organizers thanked everyone who donated, walked, volunteered, sponsored, and supported the event, saying the walk is not only about raising money but also about increasing awareness and bringing the community together. The event was a reminder that families affected by dementia are not alone. The funds will be used to support people living with dementia and their families in Sudbury, Manitoulin, North Bay, and surrounding communities.
