Hyundai Hope on Wheels Donates $200,000 To Fight Childhood Cancer

Hyundai Hope on Wheels has donated $200,000 to support children fighting cancer in Quebec.

A total of $100,000 was donated to each of the Fondation CHUS in Sherbrooke and the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. The money will help support children and families affected by cancer, fund research into childhood cancers, and provide support to families going through this difficult time.

This generous donation brings hope to children, supports medical research, and helps families facing the challenges of childhood cancer.

The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation will use the funds to purchase a new state-of-the-art tool that allows researchers to study cancer one cell at a time without losing the “map” of how different cells are arranged within a tumour.

The $100,000 donation will support the Fund for Pediatric Oncology in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The money will help doctors and health-care teams provide better care for children with cancer and take part in international research programs that give them access to the latest treatment options.

Hyundai is dedicating a portion of every new vehicle sold in Canada to support Hyundai Hope on Wheels, a registered national charitable organization. This year, the second year of the campaign’s cross-Canada tour, the initiative is committing $4.1 million to pediatric cancer initiatives, with the support of Hyundai Canada and its network of 225 dealers from coast to coast to coast.
