A Stampede charity party organized by SECURE Waste Infrastructure Corp. in Calgary raised $840,000 in support of four organizations making a meaningful difference in the community:

The four community organizations included STARS, the Calgary Food Bank, KidSport Calgary, and Providence, all of which serve the larger community in Calgary. STARS delivers emergency critical care to patients in remote and rural locations through airborne medical response. The Calgary Food Bank helps fight food insecurity by making food accessible to everyone in the city. KidSport Calgary supports equitable access to sport by removing financial barriers and offering funding for registration and free equipment to families in need. Providence offers early learning and specialized support for children with developmental delays and disabilities.

The Calgary Stampede brought together more than 800 guests last month for a day of celebrating community and giving back. Having grown into one of Calgary’s most meaningful Stampede fundraising events, the SECURE Stampede Charity Party has raised more than $5 million for local charities since 2015.
