Cadbury Supports Food Banks Canada

Cadbury is inviting Canadians to make every chocolate bite count in its new campaign supporting Food Banks Canada. Cadbury is contributing a total of $200,000 to Food Banks Canada and select affiliate food banks.

Cadbury has launched a new national campaign called Make Every Bite Count. Cadbury will donate a portion of the proceeds from product sales between April 6 and May 18, up to $100,000, and will additionally make a direct donation of $100,000 to Food Banks Canada.

The latest campaign is inspired by hockey culture, where each jersey number is transformed into real numbers and staggering statistics about food insecurity in Canada. The campaign combines Canadians’ love of hockey with a shared commitment to giving back. When customers buy a Cadbury product between April 6 and May 18, they are helping to donate a meal to someone who needs it.

Cadbury has partnered with the NHL Players’ Association and hockey standouts Nazem Kadri and Marie-Philip Poulin to rally fans nationwide and create awareness, inspiring Canadians to unite, show their pride, and make an impact.

Canada’s need for food banks is at an all-time high, with nearly 2.2 million visits to food banks each month. Mondelez Canada, the parent company of Cadbury, has helped Food Banks Canada donate more than 22 million meals since 2013.
