Park’N Fly Supports Community Healthcare and Wellness Initiatives

Park’N Fly recently highlighted its commitment to improving healthcare access and mental health in the communities it serves through two fundraising initiatives.

On September 13, the Park’N Fly team joined Hope Air’s Haul for Hope at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, where they pulled a 67,000-pound Dash 8 plane 75 metres in a race against the clock and other teams. The event raised funds to help Hope Air provide free medical travel and accommodations for Canadians in need.

On September 22, the Park’N Fly team participated in the fifth annual Walk to the Lighthouse for Mental Health and Addictions in Burlington. Sponsored by Equilibrium Burlington, the event brought together about 500 people to raise money for the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation. Proceeds will support facilities, programs, and services for patients, families, and caregivers through the hospital’s mental health and addictions programs.

Carlo Marrello, CEO of Park’N Fly, said the team is proud to support groups like Hope Air, Equilibrium Burlington, and the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation for the difference they make in people’s lives. He added that whether it’s helping Canadians access medical care far from home or strengthening mental health and addiction services, giving back is not just important but essential.
