Nearly 250 local restaurants across Canada are participating in Canada Beef’s Burger It Forward campaign, which runs from February 1 to 28. This is the third annual Burger It Forward campaign aimed at addressing rising food insecurity by raising funds for food banks and supporting local restaurants.

Throughout February, restaurants in seven regions across Canada are serving special beef burgers as part of the Burger It Forward campaign. For every featured burger sold, Canada Beef will donate the equivalent of one meal to Food Banks Canada, up to 20,000 meals. In addition, provincial cattle associations and partners are contributing to regional food banks, helping fight food insecurity across the country.

Restaurants in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland are participating to provide much-needed assistance to those facing food challenges in their communities.
