iA Financial Group is donating $500,000 to Food Banks Canada to help provide food and support to individuals and families who need it most.

This donation is part of a larger giving program, as the group donated $11.4 million in 2025 to about 600 organizations working in the Canadian education, social services, environment, and health care space. iA also raised over $3.2 million for the annual United Way campaign, thanks to the generous support of its employees.

iA Financial Group is one of Canada’s largest insurance and wealth management companies, with operations in both Canada and the United States. Founded in 1892, it is now one of the country’s largest publicly traded companies.

Food Banks Canada’s 2025 HungerCount report shows that food banks recorded 2.2 million visits in just one month this year, which is double the number from six years ago. Since 2021, iA has supported Food Banks Canada, which works with over 5,500 food banks and community organizations across the country. Denis Ricard, President and CEO of iA Financial Group, said the company feels a strong responsibility to support local food banks during this difficult time.

Food Banks Canada CEO Kirstin Beardsley thanked iA for its continued support, saying the donation will help meet urgent needs during the holiday season and support the mission to fight hunger now and in the future.
