N.L. businessman Trent Comerford recently donated 20 bunker suits to the Riverhead Volunteer Fire Department, a donation worth $100,000.

Comerford, who owns T&K Services, said he was proud to give back to the community where he grew up. The donation helped the department replace its old firefighting suits, which were no longer safe to use. Former Chief Don Boyles thanked Comerford for his generosity, while firefighter Earle Kielly said the new suits are lighter and much more comfortable. The firefighters were excited and grateful for the new equipment.

The community in Riverhead is very thankful for the recent donation to its local fire department. Locals who know Trent Comerford are proud of him and not surprised by his generosity.
